The Vital Principle – Organic and Inorganic Beings / Question #65

#65 Does the vital principle reside in any one of the bodies known to us ?

#65 - Does the vital principle reside in any one of the bodies known to us.jpg

“It has its source in the universal fluid; it is what you call the magnetic fluid, or the electric fluid, animalised. It is the intermediary, the link between spirit and matter.”

So we may say that this vital principle, important element of the Universe, is what links the spirit to the body; so maybe when we feel very tired or very sick, we also lack of such fluid. Is dying then synonym of losing all this principal that keeps the body animalised by the willingness of the spirit?

The Vital Principle – Organic and Inorganic Beings / Question #64

#64 We have seen that spirit and matter are two constituent elements of the universe. Does the vital principle constitute a third element?

#64 - We have seen that spirit and matter are two constituent elements of the universe. Does the vital principle constitute a third element.jpg

“It is, undoubtedly, one of the elements necessary to the constitution of the universe; but it has its source in a special modification of the universal matter, modified to that end. For you, it is an elementary body, like oxygen or hydrogen, which, nevertheless, are not primitive elements; for all bodies known to you, though appearing to you to be simple, are modification of the primal fluid.”

– This statement seems to imply that vitality is not due to a distinct primitive agent, but is a special property of the universal matter resulting from certain modifications of the latter.

“Your conclusion is the natural consequence of what we have stated.”

Matter and Spirit is 2 elements of the Universe indeed, but now we see that there is something linking both and giving “life” to matter: the vital element. It is considered as a third element but also comes from the modification of the matter, already an element of the Universe. But as the vital element is essential to life, and so, to incarnation of Spirits into matter; it can be considered as an element itself.

We now understand even more that the Universe provides one kind of primal fluid that modifies itself to provide an extremely huge, maybe infinite, range of matter.

The Vital Principle – Organic and Inorganic Beings / Question #63

#63 Does the vital principle resides in a special agent, or is it only a property of organized matter; in other words, is it an effect or a cause ?

#63 - Does the vital principle resides in a special agent, or is it only a property of organized matter; in other words, is it an effect or a cause.jpg

“It is both. Life is an effect produced by the action of an agent upon matter; this agent, without matter, is not life, just as matter cannot become alive without this agent. It gives life to all beings that absorb and assimilate it.”

It has to be an effect, as the only very First Cause is the Universe Itself. But it is also a cause, the cause of life of matter. “It gives life to all beings that absorb and assimilate it”, But it is still not life itself, without matter. This is a real agent of life, life needs the vital principle and the matter; after assimilation, life happens.

Lets take a real example that we all know, birth. The vital principle comes to the fetus and become a living human being. But we can wonder, where does this vital agent comes from? Not it is not the Spirit itself, the Spirit is the “user” of the matter, linked by the vital principle. So does the Spirit brings the vital principle with him? Or maybe this agent just reach its goal by itself, just like the spermatozoids reach the egg by themselves.

The Vital Principle – Organic and Inorganic Beings / Question #62

#62 What is the cause of animalisation of matter ?

#62 - What is the cause of animalisation of matter.gif

“It’s union with the vital principle.”

Matter is animalised because of its union with the vital principle. Concept that the inorganic matter d0esn’t know, because this is what makes you animalised, makes you move in order to satisfy your needs, and much more.

This vital principle is extremely important, we will keep talking about this element of the Universe.

The Vital Principle – Organic and Inorganic Beings / Question #61

#61 Is there any difference between the matter of organic and inorganic bodies ?

#61 - Is there any difference between the matter of organic and inorganic bodies.jpg

“The matter of both classes of bodies is the same, but in organic bodies it is animalised.”

Both are made of a matter made from atoms etc., the only difference is the animalization of the organic body which make it move through willingness. But the details of this will be explained in the next question.

The Vital Principle – Organic and Inorganic Beings / Question #60

#60 Is the force which unites the elements of matter in organic and inorganic bodies the same ?

#60 - Is the force which unites the elements of matter in organic and inorganic bodies the same.jpg

“Yes; the law of attraction is the same for all.”

Whether elements around us are organic or not, we still ALL answer to the law of attraction, the Natural Laws of the Universe apply to everything.

But what exactly are the differences between the organic and inorganic bodies ?

Let’s take a look at the author’s comment.
Organic beings are those which have in themselves a source of activity that produces the phenomena of life. They are born, grow, reproduce their own species, and die. They are provided with organs specially adapted to the accomplishment of the different acts of their life, to the satisfaction of their needs, and to their preservation. They include men, animals, and plants.
Inorganic beings are those which possess neither vitality nor the power of spontaneous movement, and are formed by the mere aggregation of matter; as minerals, water, air etc…

Now we know that organic and inorganic elements are, and that Universal Laws apply on all of them. And this will be useful to all the questions of this new chapter IV, The Vital Principle.

Creation – Plurality of Worlds / Question #58

#58 Are the planets furthest removed from the sun stinted in light and heat, the sun only appeared to them of the size of one of the fixed stars ?

#58 - Are the planets furthest removed from the sun stinted in light and heat, the sun only appeared to them of the size of one of the fixed stars.png

“Do you suppose that there are no other sources of light and heat than the sun? And do you count for nothing the action of electricity which, in certain worlds, plays a very much more important part than in your earth? Besides, how do you know that the beings of those worlds see in the same manners as you do, and with the aid of organs such as yours?”

Living beings are always living through a material body adapted to their environment. So there might indeed be many globes far away from a sun, and so, very low light and heat; we, humans from Earth, could not survive. Unless electricity is everywhere; that is why the Spirit here brings up the electricity. hundreds of year ago the electricity did not exist on Earth yet. Still, we lived, now we use it for everything and we even get it from natural sources and store it for later! When the Spirit says “electricity plays a very much more important part than in your earth”, it was about 150 years ago, now electricity is used differently, we might be a world he was referring to, a world where electricity is much more important part than Earth some time ago.

Also, not all living beings have exactly the same organs as us, we do have 2 eyes, maybe all humanoids have eyes as well indeed, as we were talking about in the previous questions. But even on Earth there are some living beings which do not need eyes; it depends on their environment. In deep water areas for example, the sun light and heat don’t reach fishes there, they don’t need eyes because there  is nothing to see, nothing to see as we see. But many things to see in another way; just like bat see with their ultra sound system.

The comment of the author:
The condition of existence for the beings who inhabit the various worlds must be supposed to be appropriate to the sphere in which they are destined to live. If we had never seen fishes, we should be at a loss to understand how any living beings could exist in the sea. So in regard to all the other worlds, which doubtless contain elements that are unknown to us. In our own earth, are not the long polar nights illumined by the electrical displays of the aurora arboreal? Is it impossible that, in certain worlds, electricity may be more abundant than in ours, and may sub-serve, in its general economy, various important uses not imaginable by us? and may not those worlds contain in themselves the sources of the heat and light required by their inhabitants?

“Is it impossible that, in certain worlds, electricity may be more abundant than in ours, and may sub-serve, in its general economy, various important uses not imaginable by us”…. YET ?

We evolve and discover new things that make the old Earth a totally different world, that is what allow higher spirits to incarnate on Earth compared to a previous time. And this evolution is not stopping, each discovery is an evolution for Humanity, and so, for Spirits incarnating in this globe.

Creation – Plurality of Worlds / Question #57

#57 The physical constitution of the various worlds not being the same for all does it follow that the beings who inhabit them have different organizations ?

#57 - The physical constitution of the various worlds not being the same for all does it follow that the beings who inhabit them have different organizations.jpg

“Undoubtedly it does; just as, in your world, fishes are organized for living in the water, and birds for living in the air.”

Everything follow the Natural Laws established by the First Cause, the Universe; so it is logical that living beings and non-organic elements such as stones, plants follow those Natural Laws, just like ALL other planets, and so, living beings peopling these planets.

The human race on Earth are made of what we are, so according to this answer, other humanoids on other planets are similar are us.

Creation – Plurality of Worlds / Question #56

#56 Is the physical constitution of all globes the same ?

#56 - Is the physical constitution of all globes the same.jpg

“No; they do not at all resemble one another.”

Do human beings on Earth are the same of another peopled planet? Surely not, we are what we are thanks to, firstly, the organic seeds we come from, human seeds; but also thanks to the evolution of our body throughout the generations that lived on Earth and made us, what we are now. Also on Earth already we don’t even look like each other in term of physical aspects, but we indeed all have 2 legs, 2 arms, 1 head, 2 eyes etc…

Other humanoids in globes have another reason not to be like us, the environment is very different, even regarding the rates of oxygen and other elements that keep us alive. Change 1% of our environment and we would be totally different.

Differences in Humanity make it interesting and, yes, great; now isn’t Humanity the totality of humanoids in all the globes of the universe? Then it is even greater.
